They are to act with integrity, competence,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>diligence, respect, and in an ethical manner; to place the integrity of the investment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>profession and the interests of clients above one\u2019s own interests; to use reasonable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>care and exercise independent professional judgment; to practice and encourage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>others to practice in a professional and ethical manner; to promote the integrity of,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>and uphold the rules governing, capital markets; and to maintain and improve one\u2019s<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>professional competence and to strive to maintain the competence of other investment<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>professionals.
