Justin Taheri, B.Com, MA, CFA, CIPM
Justin Taheri has more than 35 years experience in the investment field with more than 28 years in the field of performance evaluation, measurement, attribution, appraisal and GIPS.
He graduated from the University of Toronto with an honors Bachelor of Commerce degree. Pursuing graduate studies, he completed his Master of Arts degree in Economics at University of Toronto. Justin is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 1999. He holds the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) from the CFA Institute and was among the first group of graduates to have been granted the designation. Additionally, he has completed numerous other certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute including Options Licensing Course and Derivative Fundamentals Course.
Taheri has dealt with all aspects of GIPS and verification by being a consultant to the CIPM Program at the CFA Institute since 2007 and helping bring AGF International Advisors (AGFIA) into compliance when employed by AGF Management in Toronto. He is considered a qualified person to create composites that comply with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) and to perform Verification services.
